Ingredients :

• eight oz. Fresh rose petals, white base trimmed off
• 2 cups white sugar, divided
• juice of two lemons
• three cups water
• 1 (1.75 ounce) package deal powdered fruit pectin

Instructions :

• Toss the rose petals, lemon juice, and 1 cup sugar together in a bowl until the petals are calmly coated. Let stand at room temperature in a single day.
• Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high warmth. Stir in the rose petal combination and reserved 1 cup of sugar; stir till the sugar has dissolved. Reduce the heat to medium-low, and simmer 20 mins. Increase the heat to medium-excessive, and go back the mixture to a boil for five minutes. Stir within the pectin, and boil for 1 minute.
• Pour the jam into four sterilized half-pint jars. Seal with earrings and lids, and keep in a fab dark area.
